This beautiful baby girly was out and about today…
We both had our 6-week checkup, and we were at the clinic for your vaccinations.
Your last measurements on 22nd: Weight 3.02kg; height 51cm; head circumference 34.7cm.
Today’s measurements: Weight 4.36; height 57cm; head circumference 37cm.

We were expecting you to be upset after the 2 injections in your legs. Daddy was nervous, he had to take you to your appointment at the pediatrician because your appointment was at 12h30, mine was at 12h00.
You, however, were quite fine after the injections. ☺Daddy managed well with you and the pediatrician prescribed something for your tummy.

Daddy dropped us at home and had to go to work.
You were now very hungry, so mommy gave you the meds, as that was the instruction (before breastfeeding). It made you battle to breath after drinking when I tried to burp you. I got such a fright! not going to lie, I panicked, you seemed to stop breathing, I was hopping around with you in my arms, crying myself, praying aloud… and you cried…phew! a welcome sound, knowing you were breathing. I wasn’t using that medication again. We will pray this away, or for wisdom on the situation.

You were so tired after today, so much busy-ness. We both had a much deserved, and very welcomed by me, nap.
When Daddy got home, I watched him snuggle and hold you.
I love watching him interact with you ❤
We waited so long for you…we love you – our little KC 💞 SO VERY MUCH! and God loves you even more!
